My training & approach to therapy
Having trained for four years at CCPE in London, I obtained a Graduate Diploma in Counselling & Psychotherapy. During the course of my training, I saw clients both on a short term basis within the NHS and also offered longer term therapy at Kingston Womens Centre and The Awareness Centre in Clapham. I now work on a private basis in the Clapham area and London Bridge. I have been working clinically with clients since 2010.
If you are seeking help at this time, it is likely you are feeling stuck, confused or in pain about at least one aspect of your life. It is my experience and belief that not only can therapy help us understand and heal the debris of the past, but also bring about the clarity and freedom to experience life differently going forward, acquainting us with our true value, the courage to ask for what we want from life and the opportunity to reach our full potential.
My own journey has informed my particular interest in the connection between psyche and soma and the importance of understanding how limiting historical beliefs that we learned in our early years can still play out in adulthood, often without our conscious awareness.
My aim is to be with you as you explore the areas that are affecting your life today in order to understand and let go of outmoded beliefs and ideas that are holding you back from being able to live with the freedom and peace of mind to enjoy the present.
